Our Safer Spaces Policy is a community policy intended to help She Shapes History (the tours, social media and any online or off-site events) be a safe, inclusive and welcoming environment.
At She Shapes History, we strive to create a welcoming, inclusive and safe environment for all tour participants, whether they're a guide or a guest. We believe that creating a safe space is an ongoing effort that requires the entire community's participation
. We will not tolerate discrimination of any kind.We are committed to promoting respect and non-discrimination in all interactions on our tours and through our social media channels. We expect all participants to act respectfully towards one another, regardless of their opinions, beliefs, experiences, or identities.
By joining a She Shapes History tour, you agree to abide by the following guidelines:
- Show respect for everyone's opinions, beliefs, experiences, and differing points of view
- Do not make assumptions about anyone's background, health, ability, sexual preference, etc.
- Be aware of how your actions may affect others and take responsibility for them
- Be willing to change your behaviour if someone tells you that you are making them uncomfortable
Our team at She Shapes History is empowered to enforce these guidelines. If you fail to abide by them, we reserve the right to ask you to leave the tour without a refund.
